Gander Area Control Center (CZQX) is one of seven air traffic control centers owned by Nav Canada, the privately owned non-profit organization that operates Canada's air traffic control service. CZQX is responsible for air traffic control in Canadian domestic airspace over the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and it's Oceanic Control division is responsible for air traffic control service over the western portion of the North Atlantic ocean.
