  Namacu is one of the fourteen villagers of Koro Island. In history, the people of Namacu were the descendants of Btonu Clan who owns the chiefly Island of Bau. They left the island after a controversial argument with the then Roko Tui Bau. The church superitendent of the Koro Circuit is stationed at Namacu...why? Namacu was where the first missionaries landed before spreading the gospel to thewhole island. The Koro Airstrip is also at Namacu. Many Namacu personals achieved high positions in the Government, military, private sectors. Col Apolosi Biuvakaloloma managed to become a government minister during the SVT govt. This are some of the milestone achivement that the true sons and daughters of Namacu has.

  Iam very glad at this time to be given a time to comments about the people of namacu. Three years of attending koro circuit school with five of my mates. They were ege,joe,ravu,naila,vueti. I would like to thanks the people of namacu
