Lyskovsky monorail (Nizhny Novgorod region) was designed and built under the guidance of engineer Lespromkhoz I. Gorodtsov autumn of 1934

The route length of about 50 km. Rural settlement united Maza with towns and Bakaldy Yaloksha. The rack was made of wood with the step supports 5 meters. In support fit board, backed braces, which was located rail P43. On the hilly sections of the route passed through a notch on wetlands used impregnated with creosote piles.
Depot the arrows, dispatching, passenger station with wooden platforms and overweight are in rural Mazeh. By the plots were offshoots.

Homemade bunk locomotives. Kleinlokomotive was two stories. Upstairs on the landing with handrails located operator's cab and the engine tractor STZ. That captured the rotation of the wheels with two ribs (as in the Wuppertal monorail). Chassis has been made in lespromhozovskih workshops.
Under the beam from both sides were placed wooden passenger gondola with windows, with 10 beds each, which kept the ladder from the cab. The driver and assistant were obliged to make sure that both cabin filled with passengers evenly. All four were built locomotive.
By Kleinlokomotive clinged 20 freight cars, each of 20 cubic meters of timber, also symmetrically suspended from the chassis. Freight cars were equipped with air brake.

Opening monorail happened on Nov. 7, 1934. The train accelerated momentum of 20-30 kilometers per hour. Total operated three trains. Later the road was made a branch to the plots, so the whole operation was arranged monorail network.

Lyskovsky monorail was shut down in 1949, in connection with the elaboration of the plots.
