I lived in this village for 14 years from 1941 to 1955. My education up to 7th standard was in the Govt School, Perumbavoor. In those it was really an adventure to go to school & return home by crossing many paddy fields & canals. Now yearly twice we visit our Family temple, Pisharikkal Bhagavathy Temple. This place is now entirely different from what it was 60 years ago.
