Figuig is an ancient Amazight("Ifiyey")- Arab town in the most southeastern part of Morocco bordering Algeria. The town is built around hundreds of beautiful gardens and nearly 200,000 date palms of the oasis. It is situated between the Eastern edge of the Atlas and at the northern edge of the Sahara desert.
