Saskatoon Club (Saskatoon)

Canada / Saskatchewan / Saskatoon / 21st Street East, 417

The Saskatoon Club was built in 1912 as the centre of Saskatoon's business world. Designed by the same firm that designed St. John's Cathedral, this club was also appointed with many features of British origin to give it the appearance of an English gentleman's club. While the building has been much expanded over the years, the north and east sides of the original red brick building are still visible as is the pillared front verandah. The Saskatoon Club opened its membership to women in 1989.
