The Warner Theatre is a theatre in downtown Washington, D.C. Touring and local musical events, plays, and movie premiers are held all year long. It is managed by LiveNation, a ClearChannel division and presents self-promoted events along with rentals to other promoters. It is the home of the annual Helen Hayes awards for DC theater.
Originally named the Earle Theatre, it was built in 1924 for vaudeville and silent movies and renamed in 1947 in honor of its owner, Harry Warner.
