PCBL Cochin unit got 3 tread reactor and produces 120MT carbon black a day. Though they are all small reactors, give better quality and yield. These reactors are connected to 800 degree C air preheaters (Recuperators) and the smoke goes to the pulse jet bagfilters to separate black from waste gas. The waste gas is used for power generation.
