Three Fingered Jack

Three Fingered Jack is an eroded basaltic andesite volcano, between 250,000 and 500,000 years old. It stand 7844 ft (2391 m) above sea level. The standard climbing route is up the south ridge. It passes several gendarmes and ascends a wide chimney before reaching the summit step. Three Fingered jack has a reputation for broken, crumbly rock.
