his property was donated by Mrs. Santina S. Marino in memory of her late husband, Judge P. Vincent Marino who served with distinction on the bench in Washington County from 1960 to 1973. The 62 acres of land are located on Griffith Lane off of Plum Run Road in Chartiers Township. The land lies in a densely wooded hollow bordered by farmland and woods. The property provides wildlife habitat and open space that coves the bottom and two sides of the narrow hollow. Mrs. Marino said, "I am saddened by the rapid and seemingly thoughtless development of Washington County. But I am glad to do my part to ensure that open space is preserved for future generations of wildlife and people."
