This place is basically known as Chandra Shekhar Azad Nagar, established in year 1983-84. Earlier it was popularly known as Bhatta (bricks production unit). Now it is well developed colony. Mostly Garhwali communities residing in this place. Peoples faced so many challenges and sacrifices for its development. Myself and my local colony friends done lot of hard work and converted agriculture field into cricket ground behind my residence. In this ground we played many cricket matches and that trend is keep going till date. Now this place is occupied by THDC and they covered the ground by boundry wall but boys still play cricket here. I don't know about the future plan of THDC but my great memories will still alive as the time will move ahead.
