  • The nursing service in this hospital is too good. There is a famous cardiologist Dr.Subhuhani is also here and he communicates well. The only thing that you dont want to come here is for any Neuro problems. Because, the neurologist Dr.Ganesan here is the real pain in the ass. He never communicates the real problem or stautus of the patient to the patient's relatives. And, those poor people that rely on this person but end up on negative results..

  • This is No 1 Hospital in Tirunelveli for costly and fraud. The ramana movies is expressed the way in galaxy hospitals. Five Doctors is this hospitals and really intrested in money of the patients. Each doctors approximately earning about 10 lakhs per month. Dr.Subhani - Best person in taking and cheating his own muslim patient. He is doing more Cath Lab Proceduces than in Madurai, (Each Cath Lab Surgery cost more than 1 lakh) Average per day he is performing 2 cath lab. Dr.Ganesan : Slient Killer - He won't talk much, His fees will also make us slient.

  • i am a doctor of this hospital .Dr.Ganesan and Dr.Subuhani spends almost their whole day here and they never get the reward.it is easy to criticize any body.Dr.ganesan loves his patient more than his family.Ican swear on my child.
  • you cannot be god.the doctor can only prolong one's life.it takes lot of money and time and energy to do a cath lab(angiography).the instrument itself costs about one crore.get medical insurance and that is the ultimate way to avoid controversies
  • The people in this thread have posted mixed comments.. We should agree and appreciate the nursing service which is too good. But, one would really raise the question about the transperency that the Doctors (especially these two) explicity with the patient's relatives. Dr.Ramanujam, please put yourself in our place and see the real fact. The patient's relatives are NOT nuts throwing much money., rather they are so biased and anxious to see their loved ones to get back to their normal life or to save them. I, myself witnessed one case where our relative had to be admitted in this hospital, but until the patient's last moment, Dr.Ganesan had been giving hope to the patients that he would make the patient recover and suddenly the next day he said patient's recovery is impossible...huh... !? whereas when our relatives cross checked the patient's real status with a "near by" neurologist, that Doctor said it would have been impossible to save the patient even a month before... God only knows why these doctors didn't keep the patient's relatives with more transperancy on what is going on...!! Ofcourse, doctors aren't God., but atleast they shouldn't behave like that to relatives..rather be friendly.. after all we are customers and we should be treated well... hope they would learn.. otherwise one thing here rocks.. which is the nursing service, Hats off to these nursing care.

  • Dr.Ramanujam was paid in Galaxy Hospitals and he is the co-ordinator for the talk show in local TV channel. So there is no suprice that Dr.Ramanujam supports Galaxy Hospitals. Yes you are correct, Dr.Ganesan loves Patient more than his childern, with one small correction, Not patient, the correct term patient's money. Let me ask question to Dr.Ramanujam, 1. What was the least bill in this hospital after discharge ( I Know it is not less the 5 digit) 2. Did Galaxy hospital will allow the person alive/dead without paying the dues ? 3. Did Galaxy hospital till date any free major surgery to poor patients? 4. Did you know how many cath lab procedures and unwanted angioplast are done daily by Dr.Mababoob Subhani? 5. Did you know the monthy income from various department? Pharmacy - 15 to 20 lakhs CT scan - 6 to 8 lakhs ( CT scan govt:- 500 , private :- 1200, Galaxy Hospital : - 2200 ) Lab - 8 to 10 lakhs Blood Bank - 1 to 2 lakhs 6. Did you know the blood was sold in Galaxy hospitals for More than Rs.1200/- where as govt has fixed the rate for Rs.850/- only
  • Yes most of the lab tests are costly. More profit in the Lab & pharmacy only. But I don't known why most of the comment of 2 doctor's only, why they are not pin pointing other doctors 1. Dr.Bakthavachalam, 2.Dr.Balasubramanian & 3.Dr.Avudaiappan. All in the same mud-pot.

  • The friends who have given wrong command against this hospital were affected by business and competition problems like tendor,disqualified and found culprits inside the hospital. Yes every hospital has their own problem. I am not a doctor or owner's relative. See, if you don't want to spend many you should go GH. There you can't get affordable care nor you can get more disappointment. Mr.Balamurugan I think you are not a pratical man, see they do help poor not like TV advertisement. Regarding blood, they are charging 10 to 20 % higher than GH, could you go to GH and will you accept for your body. Since they haven't prooved in vacination. No proper care like temperature control. If you want a first class medical care you have to pay reasonable money to them otherwise goto GH.

  • i read above all of comments.most of the private hosp are financed by bank or private financiers.(galaxy also included)i think now no need to say.generally all businesses are running by intrest payments.from where will they return the money?from people money only.unless you get higher educations particularly, in medical studies field free from briberies,and our (children's) daughter wedding expences like,dowry,uplehostary,huge amt of gold jewelleries as name of gift to boneless bridegroom,we can not and should not expect any thing as you all comments.the only one thing i can say to protect,avoid from thease (high charging)things we must have little knowledge of all the fields or i can suggest all of you before do any thing,if we don't know of the particular subject we must cunsult in our family member who is wise even though your enimy.hopefully unterstand.the medical equipments & instruments are not cheaper and reliable made in foriegn country. so medical cost wil be expensive also the doctors do add high amt to treatment without sympathy as they loose their money to some one. this is real reason why doters r charging high.thanks

  • Dr.Bakthavachalam is one of the most best doctor not only in Tirunelveli but in Tamil Nadu .He is very kind to patients .He is a very efficient in gastroenterology department in Galaxy Hospital.He had saved life of many patients.Totally he is god's gift. by jeyadossmanimaran

  • I am regularly visiting galaxy hospital - Number one hospital in dist. Expensive we should know that good things are always expensive. Five life saving doctors are there, they are all brilliant and well expereinced - They are not running free medical camp- Running of a very big, modernised, sofisticated hospital deseves high fee so as to enable to save life. If we people are not ready to have quick safe treatment we should not think of galaxy- Dr Ganesan , DrAuvudayappan,Dr Subhani are very good , official and duty bound-But we can have patiently, friendly and brotherly tretment from Dr Baktha who is nice and intelleligent- treating very well on the base of our affordability- He is doctor of doctors-Thankful to them.

  • The hospital is a worst place. My mom was having kidney problem and diabetes. They didnot gine any treatment for diabetes, They kept her for so long , finally she passed away.she was having a wound in her thigh but they did not care or treat.Not only me lots of people from my home town have the same issues with the hospital.
  • Beware..Don't even think in you dream to go to this hospital especially cardiac problems.My uncle was admitted for 3 weeks in ICU and not treated properly .He was discharged by charging huge amount but he passed away on the date of discharge

  • Please don't go to Galaxy Hospital Tirunelveli and never ever think about it. Dr Mehboobu Subuhani Cordiologist is worst doctor and he is running the hospital. So he always charge more with worst service. i have my personal experience. If you really want to visit cardiologist, you should visit Madurai Apollo/Meenakshi mission. These guys will do anything for money. They are not doctors at all.
