Saskatoon's daily newspaper is produced out of this building. Its first edition was published on October 17, 1902 as the "Saskatoon Phenix". On September 12, 1928 it merged with rival publication, the "Daily Star", to become the StarPhoenix. It is owned by Postmedia Network.
