Manjapra is a small village in Ernakulam District, situated about 9 km from Angamaly. The village is famous for its two temples - Ambadathu Malikayil Shri Ayyappa Temple and Karppillikkavu Shri Mahadeva Temple. The ancient Karppillikkavu Shri Mahadeva Temple is one among the 108 eminent Shiva temples in India. The unique feature of this temple is that the Shiva pratishta faces the western direction.
