Designed by D.H. Burnham and Company, the original 18-story Fisher Building was completed in 1896. A 20-story addition in a similar style was completed in 1907. The building was renovated and converted into high-end apartments in 2001.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976, and designated a Chicago Landmark in 1978.
