Gibdock www.gibdock.com/ is the former Royal Navy Dockyard in Gibraltar, built at the end of the 19th century with three graving docks (drydocks).
The dockyard was used extensively by the Royal Navy for nearly a century until defense cutbacks in the early 1980s led to the privatisation of the dockyard. The dockyard has passed though a number of hands since 1982, and is currently owned by Northwestern Shiprepairers & Shipbuilders.
Three dry docks ranging in length from 154 meters to 272 meters supported by 10 cranes make up the flexible core of the yard. A 300 meter main wharf and a 435 meter mole complete Gibdock’s infrastructure.
