This hospital is in Freehold Township, N.J. The emergency department was expanded in 2004, and the special care nursery was expanded from four to eight bassinets in 2005. A major addition, the Star and Barry Tobias Ambulatory Campus, was completed in 2007.

The hospital was originally named Greater Freehold Area Hospital and opened in 1971. Its name was changed to the current name in 1990.
