Constructed in 1916, pursuant to a design by architects Mills Rhines Bellman & Nordhoff, the Classic temple style building mixes Greek and Italian elements. The marble clad structure features six Ionic columns along North Superior Street and Italian Renaissance style arched windows along Madison Avenue as well as a barrel ceiling and skylight.
