  Palluruthy Relief Settlement is an asylum for destitute run by Cochin Corporation along with the support of Peoples Council of Social Justice (NGO).It is a second home for about 300 inmates from many parts of India and the most important factor about PRS(Palluruthy Relief Settlement) is unlike other shelters in state ,inmates are considerably free and they are not considered as patients. This helps in an early recovery of mental illness of many inmates.
