Parasuramapuram Village, An pious Oriya Bramhin Sasan village founded by the then Parala Maharaja. The ancestors of these bramhins were belonged to Kanyakubja. Now most of the villagers are settled in most part of Orissa such as Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Parala, Gunpur, Rayagada, Jeypore, Koraput and Semiliguda. Though the villagesrs settle in the above areas all of them have their immovable properties in the village and meet every year in the village function on Katik Sukla Ekadasi withoiut fail. The festivals celebrated in the village are Ganesh Chaturthi, Dussehra, Kumar Purnami, Nama Sankirtan on Kartik Sukla Ekadashi, Dol Purnima etc.
