5 story building constructed in 1925 was originally the home of Western Union. As late as 1951 over 125 people were employed in Western Union's telegraph operations handling money orders and cablegrams.

Long vacant the property was acquired 1n 2006 by Advocates For Basic Legal Equality and Legal Aid Of Western Ohio. Following a $6.1 million renovation which included the extensive use of LEED features the legal offices were opened in 2009.
