A Beautiful Village, Sri Meenakshmi Amman Temple (Periya Koil) located in this village @ a peaceful location. The architecture of the Temple is wonderful. Location about 8km from Ponnamaravathi town on the route of Ponnamaravathi-Trichy, via nagarapatti, palakurichi. The festival celebration in this village prolong for a month, everyday all the night by the festival season showing Stage drama performing historical moments, part of god/godess stories, (like sathyavaan savithri, valli thirumanam, veerapandia kattabomman, harichandra, maruthupandiyargal, etc) or Movie shows.
