Of more than 50 years he spent his life time in the bank of Varattaru river, where this place is located. During this period, he was helping the poor / disabled and was teaching his principles to the devotees. He himself made a statue in similar to Lord Palani Murugan and did poojas regularly. He attained Jeeva Samathi in September 1933 at this same place, and is situated inside the temple, before varattaru murugan statue. It was a strong belief that Varattaru Muruga Perumaan in this temple has the powers in similar to Palani Muruga Perumaan and pilgrims are requested to do prarthanas for their well-beings. Services Rendered At This Trust Everyday Pooja / Pal-abhishekam done to Varattaru Muruga Perumaan and the temple is kept very clean to make the devotees more comfortable. • Meals are provided to the devotees / sadhus on daily basis. • Pilgrims can accommodate with prior permission from the trustees. • Arrangements to worship Lord Palani Murugan. Pournami / Amavasyai Poojas: • For every Pournami / Amavasyai, special poojas are done. Prathosam: • For every Prathosam - poojas done to the Siva temple located inside the same premises. We welcome donations / food materials for this work to be prolonged; Archanas will be done on behalf of the donors and Prasatham will be sent to the donors door steps.
