Essendine Primary School is a mixed school for 3-11 years old in Maida Vale, Westminster, Greater London.

Essendine School was originally called Essendine Road School, after the street that runs along its eastern boundary. It was designed for the School Board for London by TJ Bailey in 1899-1900 and extended to the north in 1904 under the London County Council. In 1903 it had accommodation for 927 pupils, and was also a centre for ‘the instruction of the Physically Defective’, with accommodation for 40 pupils. Enlarged 1910.
Name changed to Essendine Council School by 1938.
Primary and mixed secondary schools until 1958, when it lost the secondary boys. The secondary girls school closed in 1962.
Still a primary school today.
