Tanahun Sur. Tanahun is the name that has the meaning as TRI (three) TUNG (peaks). TRITUNG was converted into Tanahun in due course of time. It was the capital of SEN dynasty before Shah ruler of Gorkha envaded in around 1750 AD. There are some signs of cannons and classical artillery even today.
