A new Layout is being developed in this place with around 50 half ground plots. As per my research, this is the most inexpensive layout anywhere close to Chennai. Current market price for one ground comes around 8 lacs. The best part is, unlike the other layouts which are in the middle of nowhere on ECR, this one is situated in Pudupattinam which is a thriving and growing community surrounding Kalpakkam.
