Once known as a Siddha peetha, a place of worship and meditation used by Saints and Rishies. The place has one ancient cave known as 'Ashwasthamaa Bila', a small water fountain inside a large black stone at the top of the hill known as 'Gupta Gangaa', and a Shiva Lingam. The Gangi Mahotsava, an worship of nature, is being held here since 2008 on 'Magha Saptami' regularly, to protect the nature and the environment in and around the neighbouring four Hills of Olasuni, Landa (Lalitgiri), Alati and Ragadi.
