Located adjacent to Constitution Marina, one of the largest recreational marinas in Boston, the wooden HarborWalk and deck at Tudor Wharf was constructed as part of the development of the Marriot Residence Inn in June 2003. With the hotel set back 85 feet from the water's edge, Tudor Wharf's HarborWalk features benches that provide a fantastic viewing spot across the Inner Harbor to the North End and Downtown waterfronts, as well as views of the fishermen nearby. For those that would like to purchase food, HarborWalk Cafe, a popular restaurant next to the pier, provides a great setting for stunning views of Boston's Harbor and the Skyline. During warmer weather, HarborWalk Cafe will also serve lunch and dinner outside. Interpretive signs, designed by the Boston History and Innovation Collaborative as part of the City of Boston's Historic Piers Network Plan, tell how new immigrants arrived at these wharves and the story of how Frederic Tudor, the "Ice King", spearheaded the shipping and trading of ice blocks from the harbor. www.bostonharborwalk.com/placestogo/location.php?nid=1&...
