Constructed in the early 1970s, this neighbourhood was an experiment in using the same name for almost all the streets in the community (save for Arlington Avenue). Streets were given names such as 600 East Place, 100 East Drive, etc. This experiement wasn't very popular and to date has never been repeated, although no attempt was made at changing the street names already in place.
