maps show Mrs. A.L. Stevens 1876, Julia Roberts 1893, then Frank Work 1907, (will update), Franklin H. Work "Frank" (1819–1911), a well-known stockbroker and protégé of Cornelius Vanderbilt. Work passed the estate to his daughter ~ Frances Work ~ who had recently divorced her husband and moved back to America with her daughter, Cynthia Roche (d. 1966). The home passed to Cynthia, who had married her second husband, Guy, there. Cynthia was a prominent art collector, whose collection includes over 200 pieces. It is now housed at the Redwood Library.

5th generation owned by the Van Pelts, (Guy and Mary). Guy is the grandson of Cynthia and the son of her daughter, Cynthia Van Pelt, whom the estate had passed to. Guy (now in his 50's) lives there with his wife, Mary.
