Broadlawn, the King-Low House (ca 1866, 2006-07; George C. Mason [1866] and Steve Laurin [2006-08], architects):
A large 2½-story, low and flared mansard-roof house with a square-plan main block, a lower ell to the north, octagonal oriel windows at the southeast and southwest corners, and prominent segmental-arch dormers on the east, south, and west elevations.
Developer Edward King built this on speculation; in 1881 New Yorker Josiah Low purchased it as a summer house.
(recently owned by Virginia Decker, widower of Alonzo Decker, from Black and Decker money)
