Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins bought this Victorian house at 3448 N. Greenview Ave. in 1993 and sold it in 2001. The house (which Corgan had painted purple shortly after buying it) appeared in a local Chicago magazine in 1993, leading to frequent unwanted visitors and gawkers.
