Dhar Aseqfane is an ancient archaeological site located near the mouth of the Oued Laksar river in Morocco, close to the modern town of Ksar Seghir. It was an important settlement for centuries, possibly over 18 centuries, and was likely an ancient port. Excavations have found evidence of pottery kilns, suggesting a potential link to Late Punic-Mauretanian or Early Roman activity and possible fish-salting operations
