  • I was a student of this school back in 1961 when it was then called "PAF Children's English School" which was housed in 2 stone brick buildings and the Headmistress' name was Mrs Irfan. Later in 1965 it was renamed "PAF Model School" and its principal was Mr Shafique, later Sqn Ldr SBH Bukhari (Ret), then Wg Cdr Hafeez Ullah (Ret) and last when I left school in 1970 it was Mr Simon D'Lima. A great, cosy place that created wonderful citizens. Among some teachers I can recall are Mr Hameed (English), Mr Ansari (physics), Mr Hashmi (Urdu and art), Monis Qureshi (scouting), Mohd. Razzaque (Islamiat), Mr Latif (mathematics), earlier on Mr Naeem Yunus (English), Mr Malik, Mr Ijad, Mr Iqbal Maal, Dilasa Khan (guard), Mr Lodhi, Mrs Farooqi, Mrs Ghauri. Some of my classmates were Akmal Hussain, Syed Ashraf Ali, Rashid Anwar, Shahid Mirza, Zarrar Sheikh, Arshad Ul Alam, Mohd. Sarfaraz, Firoz, Iftekhar, Ajaz, Imtiaz Ayub, some other friends were Ashfaq, Anwar Agha Tabatabai, Zafar, Nasser Ahmad, Anis Mahbub, Suhail Salah Uddin, Salman Butt, Mubashhir, Qaiser and many I can't recall.   • Its nice to see our school/college here, I was joined this school in 1987 when its known as PAF Shaheen High School which was later changed to PAF Intermediate College Faisal and finally reach to its destiny and become Degree College and known as PAF Degree College Faisal Karachi. All teachers in my whole tenure are quite nice and friendly (at least with me) whom i would never forget in my life which are Ms Rubina (my first english teacher)Ms Malahat(Urdu), Ms Porsheia Dravid(english), Ms Shugufta(Math), Sir Amjad(science), Sir Alam(Maths), Ms Shams (Islamiat), Ms Rubina Arshad(english) Ms Aliya, Sir Zahid (Biology, v hav excellent time with him later he became heart patient, Allah All Mighty shows HIS blessing to him) Ms shaista (Chemistry) Ms Uzma(Chemistry) Sir Khalid (Maths) Ms Seema Insari (English) etc i am missing lot of names but i am still remember them all in my memories but cant recall. some of my classmates Amjad, Ishtiaq, Nabeel,Hammad Butla, Tariq, Saqlain, Imran Satti, Imran Khan, Shahzad Dhelo, Shahzad Jadoon, Adeel, Mehtab, Ather.   • Joined in 1985 ( I am not sure but approx) in KG and then studied till Matric done in 1997. Long and most careless part of life spend here...It was called PAF College Faisal and then was renamed PAF Degree College Faisal. I can remember even my class rooms...From one corner of school to other as went into higher classes...Cannot forget that memories..I can remember teacher names that one of our friend has put here ...also was not forgetable icon as SIR AQIL. Even Juniad Jamshaid has mentioned abt him in one of article, I can still remember when I was in school. This school has given me strong foundation and helped me lot in my future. THANK YOU Fazaia(PAF) DEGREE COLLEGE. My father was in AirForce and I can still rememeber whe Air War College was Built there, Any body in that time plz contact me.   • it is nice to see my school here i joined the P A F MODEL school when i was in 3rd standard and i passed my matric in 86 and all that time i can never forget as it was the best time of my life i do not remember exactly who was the principle at that time when i took admission either sir simon delima or madam ruqia shafiq they both were very strict i also remember some of my teachers name like mrs mumtaz mrs farkhunda my english teachers sir aslam and samina math teachers mrs seema scince teacher mrs nuzhat urdu teacher sir jaferry urdu and technical drawing teacher sir hashmi and azmat ara islamiat teachers sir seraj geograpy teacher and my class teacher mrs sohail naseem and no body of that time can forget sir aqil he was sports incharge(HITTLER) no body of that time can forget his caning. i was never a good student i was in arts group now i m doing law practice in karachi and doing well and it is only because of my great teachers that i m success full in my practical life and i m proud that i had studied in P A F MODEL SCHOOL
  • i took admission in fazaia degree college faisal in 2 may 2005 and leave this college on 23 june 2010 Excellent teachers especially miss FOUZIA she teaches me pakstudies now i study in AIR UNIVERSITY but i miss my college alot . i have no more words to write.

  • I did my matriculation in 1978 in the reign of Simon D' lima when it used to be P A F Model School. Never found any information on class of 78 or any reunions. If anyone have any info please share. Also, there used to be a publication if anyone have the access to the year book of 1977-78 please post the link or notify.

  • I did my matriculation in 1978, Simon D'lima was then Principal, any one knows if he is still alive, Allah Bless him, a GREAT PRINCIPAL.It was his strict discipline which made sure we achieved good grades and excelled in life,some of my class mates were Riaz Gill, Asim Saeed, Muzaffar Rahat, Rizwan Ahmad, Kathleen Carapiet, Saima Aijaz, Tanzila Sajid, to name a few.Junaid Jamshed was 2 years junior to me in the same school Mr. Hashmi, Mr. Latif, Ms. Roohi, Ms. Riffat were are subject teachers.   • I did my matriculation from PAF Model Schools the in the year 1978. So nice to see two person Shahab Khairi and Waqar Ghory for same batch. Who can forget class 10-A of that year. Shahab you may not remember me as I was in class 10-B, you were in 10-A, full of energetic boys doing follies and Simon D,lima use to breath on their necks. Yes Simon D'lima has left a great mark on all of us. A great person and administrator of highest degree. It was great to see his picture taken about 4 months ago i.e in 2012, I received today from one of my, the only one in contact.   • A great man...from a humble beginning to be one of the most well-known legendary teachers of St. Patrick's High School, Karachi. RIP Your PRAYERS are requested for the repose of the soul of SIR SIMON D'LIMA, former teacher at St. Patrick's High School Karachi, and former Principal of PAF Model School, Karachi and St. Peter's High School, Karachi, who PASSED AWAY on December 9, 2013 in the USA.
