Karadivavi was founded 300years ago when migrants found a Bear(Karadi)stranded in a well(bavi),so it was named after the incident. The people of Karadivavi are intelligent and industrious and have gone on to develop many industries to benefit the community and themselves. Karadivavai has a school(VLB school) named after the founder and a small government aided hospital called KGL Hospital which provides cheap health care.
