used to called as church school my school.

This school was renamed in the memory of Dr. Venkoba Rao. He migrated to Parvathipuram from Visakhapatnam in the mid 1940s. He was one of the first doctors in PVP with an M.B.B.S degree. In spite of the opportunities to pursue a cushy job in a bigger town, he dedicated his life to the rural areas surrounding PVP to offer a better medical advise and services. He traveled on bicycle, bullock carts, boats and you name it...to reach the patients in need at any hour. This is not something one would do for money. This requires a total dedication to the betterment of people. He and his wife Mrs. Ambuja are known for their philanthropic and social activities.
