Puthenveedu is the name of one of the ancient taravadus,which is more than 200 years old. Now Mr. G.P. Panicker, Indira Panicker, Dr. Venugopal, Dr.Uma Venugopal, Sreelatha, G.S. Pillai, Adv. P. Krishna Kumar, Adv. Salini, Rahul, Vaisakh, Akhil, K.Akash, Vaishnav, K.Niranjan and K.Neelanjana are residing here. Total number of the members of the taravad is more than 250. One of the interesting thing about the family building is that there is a huge Rose wood beam having more than 25 feet length, about one feet breadth and about half a ton KG weight!
