a very old & famous Durga temple, one of the 108 Durga temples created by the Parashurama Maharshi. Its on the NH -47 By-pass at Kuttanellur, Trissur district, Kerala. Very famous for " Pooram" without fireworks but only for pure drum beats of "Chenda Melam of Panchari" of 4 & 1/2 hours in the morning.

The temple granary is located to east and temple pond to the North-West

  • Keli & pattu with ezhunnallippu and later with a grant panchari melam.... which is one of the greatest pooram in trichur district. yes, Kurupath nanu marar, eachara marar, karakkat eachara marar,,and lastly kachamkurichy kannan marar,,,did their best effort for making this pooram,,,very familiar,,with their traditional skill and with strict kaala pramanam..
