Lonsdale Tunnel (City of North Vancouver)

This Canadian National Railway tunnel diverts trains underneath the Lonsdale area of North Vancouver. It was built in the 1930's, and extended in the 1960's or '70s.
About 8 trains pass through it each day.

  • NOTE: I edited the title of this poly from "CN RAIL Lonsdale Tunnel" back to just "Lonsdale Tunnel". The name of the tunnel is not 'cn rail lonsdale tunnel. CN Rail is just the company that owns it, therefor should not be put into the Polygon name. I don't think that you're going to want to rename The Vancouver Convention Centre's polygon to "City of Vancouver Vancouver Convention Centre". Same kind of idea.
