This secondary school has achieved clustered school among its group/category in the year of 2007[if I'm not mistaken]. The history of this school has begun since 01.05.1985, where originally it is known as Sekolah Menengah Jalan Bayam, before its name has been changed to Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Dato' Ahmad Maher in 1992. Since that, this school has become "Sekolah Kawalan" of State Education Department of Kelantan.

  • a few month ago i went to this school for a robotic competition.. n i had wonderful time competing with other schools.. but..why did girls student from maher look at us from zs like they wanted to kill us.. they're not so friendly.. i heard that maher students doesn't like zs students..!! may i know the reason please..???!!
