  • I went to this school almost 24 years ago.. Wow that long ago and it still feels like just yesterday I climbed the hill behind the school
  • It was the best Telugu Medium school in Visakhapatnam when Fr. Mathew Alphatt was the principle of this school till 1993 - and he has been awarded with Best Teacher (national prize). All the students are very thankful to him for his dedication to give us a good education not only good administration in school time but also in study hours (otherwise BP - Bring Parents)

  • I am not sure if this is the best school. The beating by the drill teacher, mathew alphat were unbearable. The beating only let me down many times, infact, today i can not keep my hand steady as a result of beating. One incident, still makes me mad is Mr. Alphat has pinched behind my ear, blood was coming, he didnt stop. They really have no right to behave like that. More over, they care about medals, not about real talent. They only want to encourage first class students. When I got school 10th rank, people realized the real potential. I will never send my kids to school like this...
  • Dear Rama Krishna, Greetings. I donot know to which batch u belonged to. Sad to hear that you hurt your hand and had blood oozed out of your ear. But getting beaten up and receiving pinches, not only by the Great Sri Mathew Alappat but also by the other teachers was not just limited to you but to all most all of the students in that lovely school. Even i got beaten up and my ear pinched by our FATHER. He never strived for the Medals as you claimed. He had taken extra care for those who are poor in subjects and conducted private classes to ensure that these also do well in exams. He even used to call for the parents (bring your parents-BP.... remember?), to keep the spoiled brats on line with others. This day im a succesful administrator and a diciplined gazetted officer in central Govt of India, maily because of the care taken and wisdom emparted by Sri Alappat. The knowledge, attitude and charector i acquired at the school had always helped in scaling new heights and kept me a different person form others. Iam thankful to Sri Alappat and grateful to this lovely school. Yes, please dont send your children to this school, as this is not the one where we once studied as far as the quality is concerned. Recently, we all gathered at our school and felicitated most of the then teachers including our Great Sri Alappat, which gave me and others a feel of Deja vu and ofcourse lots and lots of unspeakable joy. Even if u agree or not Our school was the best during those days under all heads.

  • Dear Shri Praveen I absolutely agree with you. our School Father is very grate. He had taken a lot care about our career and prospectus. I am Cousin of Pandit Master (Telugu teacher), Simhachalam and of 1986-87 Batch. I am very proud to say that I was passed out from St.Peters High School. Many of our school students are surly very fluent in written/ spoken English, cause the care taken by Father Alappat sir only. of course Drill master Das sir was very harsh and use to beat the students very much, i was also an victim of him. However all they have taken a lot care for our goodness only, i feel. We shall always be very thankful to out masters who taught us very well and built a very good education foundation.
  • Srihari I will ask one question - Will you think same way if some one beats your son/daughter the way Das master used to beat? I won't, I will make sure he is behind the bars for that kind of beating. I still have some marks on my body from the beating in this school. This is the worst kind of treatment you can give - it lowers your morale, self esteem and you are always worried if you are going to make a mistake & going to get beaten up... This has to stop not just in St.Peters but every where in India. Take a good look at the kids, how in the world you can even raise your hand?
