Meadville Area Senior High School (MASH) is a state of the art high school that was recently remodeled after the new millenium. It features 4 wings of classrooms, a very large and modern auditorium, a main gym, an auxiliary gym, modern chemistry and biology labs, a band room, an orchestra room, a choir room, metal & welding shops, a wood shop, home-ec rooms, many computer labs, a very large and up-to-date library, A/V and technology rooms, and much more. Meadville High School is regionly known as one of the highest quality and best value high schools in the region.

Academically, MASH is very competitive nationally with an aggressive curriculum that is geared toward producing future college students. The school provides advanced 5th year classes in Spanish, German, and French as well. Also available are Advanced Placement courses in Calculus, English, Chemistry, Biology, American History, and others, which earn students college credit. MASH also offers college classes at the nearby Allegheny College for hard-working students. MASH also offers a multitude of training opportunities through the nearby Crawford County Area Vocational Technical School to train students in various competitive trades in the area, including the high demand in the Tool & Die industry.

Meadville's main gym, known from the 1970's as "The House of Thrills" is the home to exciting basketball, volleyball, and wrestling events. Meadville is also home to the annual Tool City Wrestling Tournament, a large tournament drawing from much of western PA and eastern OH, running 6 matches simulateously. The school's mascot is the Bulldog, and the school colors are Red & Black (with white used as a teritary color). The school also boasts JV and Varsity cheerleading squads for Football, Basketball, and Wrestling. Meadville High School is also home to the renowned Bulldog Hockey program, led by coach Jamie Plunkett. The team has amassed 8 state championships, with the most recent being in 2003. Other sports offered here include Baseball, Golf, Softball, Swimming & Diving, Soccer, Track & Field, and a variety of Intramural sports as well.

MASH shares the Meadville Area Recreational Complex ice arena and swimming pool.
