MCA

The postgraduate department, Master Of Computer Applications a 3 year full time Course was stared at Donbosco PG College in 2001, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. The Department aims at providing the nation Quality computer professionals. They quest to prepare Professionally momptent, eitheically conscious and socailly responsible students to cater the present needs of information technology and society.

Vision.

The objective of this deparment is to develop exemplary individuals both in pfofession and in society. There fore always available to guide the students in their difficulties; the students find mentoring activity very use full for their career. The department under takes many co-curricular activiets on regular basis encouraging all the students to praticipate effectively.

Teaching Methodology:

The department has an eminently qualified exuberent faculty representing all major streams of IT discipline. It is a combination of experience and youth. The department is also assisted by professionals drawn from defferent areas in IT sector, who enrich the students to develop into competent professionas in the present day demanding and dynamic environment. The college gives high priority in conducting IT-Meets with Real-Time Professionals from the IT Industry and also conducts gurest lectures by highly experienced Professors.

MBA

The postgraduate Department Master Of Business Administration conducts a four semesters full-time M.B.A programee, approved by the AICTE and affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University.

Vission:

The department aims at providing the Nation, Managers Who are Professionally competent, Ethically conscious and Socially responsible, to cater the present needs of Business and Society. The department does not over-emphasise academics alone but the overall development of the individal. To ensure this, the students are exposed to a regorous training programme both in curicular and co-curricular activites. This is coordinated through the functioning or the four important wings of the department. Namely the Academic institute, industry interaction, Students activites and the Placement cell. The department, science it’s inception has already made a mark for itself as one of the premier management schools in the region. This is a humble beginning in its pursuit of excellence.

Teaching Methodology:

Though lecturing is the dominant method used for classroom instruction, printed handouts and visual displays usually complement it. The overhead projector and the LCD projectro are used to make classroom presentations lively and far reaching. Self-learning mechanisms are also encouraged by making it mandatory for the students to download information form the internet and submit periodical assignments and make calssroom presentations. Also a comprehensive managerical skill development programme is conducted daily to cater to their overall personality development.

B.pharm

B.pharm course at Don Bosco PG College was started in 2000. It is a 4 year full time course. The infrastructure of the college includes well-equipped laboratories, well stocked library, spacious lecture halls, separate boys, hirls hostels, canteen spacious playground, payphones, computer and language labs etc. Regular bus service enables studens to communicate from the campus to the city. All this makes the college a conductive academic learning place that provides students with quality education in a clean, comfortable environment.

The B.pharm course run by the college is recognized by the all india council for technical education (AICTE). New Delhi and Government of Andhara Pradesh and affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna university Nagarjuna Nagar, Guntur(DT).

Vision

The main aim of the college is to train the students professionally competent social health care professionals, ethically conscious and to cater the present need of health care and society. The objective of this college is to develop the budding pharmacists into various vulnerable fields of pharmacy particularly community pharmacy, manufacturing, clicnical, research and development fields. The college undertaken many curricular activities like conducting guest lectures with outstanding personalities in academic as well as industrial field and co-curricular activities like conducting various health check up and medication campus to various rural people surrounding the institution.

The college has an enthusiastic, dynamic and result oriented academic team with qualified and highly experienced professionals who enrich the students to develop into competent professionals in the present day demanding and Eco system.

B.Tech

The DON BOSCO INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND SCIENCE was established in the year 2007 by the DON BOSCO EDUCATION SOCIETY, Guntur. The college is located at a distance of 7KM from Guntur Rail way station and Bus terminals along the side pedandipadu, Main road, 5th Mile, Pulladigunta.
