The cemetery north of the grove was known during the war, but from the initial deaths after the war, only 78 were located. Only 26 of these graves were identified.
As many as 230 soldiers, whose graves got destroyed and could not be found, are commemorated by special memorials.

In total, 256 victims are identified and 52 unidentified dead are buried or commemorated,
including 154 from the United Kingdom (40 unidentified)and 154 Canadians (including 12 unidentified).
