A dump of sorts for the WWI-era poison gas (mustard, chlorine, and phosphate) bombs which continue to be found in nearby fields--over 200,000 per year in the Ypres area alone every year. Many bombs became buried in the mud during the war since it was too soft to offer the necessary resistence needed to cause an explosion--only to be found decades later by farmers and developers.
The rusting bombs are left in the open air until the Belgian military can get around to destroying them. A special factory involving x-ray machines and robots has been built to neutralize the shells and dispose of the deadly gasses.
