This is one of 11 tunnels on Canadian National's rail line between Prince George and Prince Rupert, a line which was completed by the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway during 1914. The tunnel is 120' in length, and is the shortest of the 11 tunnels. This route is used by VIA Rail Canada's Jasper-Prince Rupert Train, previously called the Skeena.
