Opened in 1979, this school is named in honor of "Jimmy" Taylor, the former National FFA Organization adviser and agricultural teacher at Katy High School who also served as the superintendent of Katy schools before retirement. Their mascot is the Mustangs with their school colors being royal blue and white.
