Sherman Indian High School is an off-reservation boarding high school for Native Americans. The was founded in 1892 in Perris, CA and known as the Perris Indian School. It was the first off-reservation Indian Boarding School in the state of California. The school moved to Riverside in 1903. Also, on the grounds is the Sherman Indian Museum.
