"McAllister Place is pleased to announce the beginning of the redevelopment of the former Sears location. This redevelopment the will bring new opportunities for Saint John’s premier shopping destination.

The back side of the former Sears space is currently being torn down. The rebuild will offer approximately 100,000 sqft of new construction accommodating a number of large format retailers. The exterior will consist of a modern and innovative design.

In addition, a new common area will be designed with interior access to the new retailers enhancing the shopper’s experience and retailer mix.

As we are in the beginning stages of this exciting redevelopment, completion dates cannot be confirmed at this time. Construction will be phased over approximately 12 to 24 months with new retailer’s opening 2020-2021.
