Once it was a pioneer company in manufacture of Sulphuric Acid & Phosphoric Acid & allied products. Due to nature of its products, it was a major contributor to pollution in this area. Company had hired talent to keep ahead in terms of manufacturing technology till a
very long period, but due to drive of urbanisation of the Ambernath town, they had to shift their manufacturing facilities from here.
Now all the structures have been erased from this area & soon residential colonies will be built here.
